Matt Abdullah Snapp, PhD, LMFT, CGP

Matt has been a licensed clinical psychologist for over 40 years serving individuals, couples, groups, systems and organizations as a psychotherapist, management consultant and executive coach. He began his independent practice as a Transpersonal Psychologist believing that all intrapersonal and interpersonal problems present opportunities for spiritual growth. During those years he studied with many teachers and systems, trying to develop greater understanding of the nature of dis-ease and how best to learn from it and enhance our lives. His training in psychodynamic psychotherapy was first enhanced by teachings from a Judeo-Christian mystical orientation. Then further enhanced by teachings from a Hindu Mystical perspective and culminated in the wisdom and apparent truth in the teachings of Sufism as taught by Sidi Mohamed al Jamal and Dr. Ibrahim Jaffe. He continues to pursue deeper experience and understanding of Sufi Healing and the gift it offers us for greater contentment for ourselves and our lives.

Donna Jamila Crews

I am a 20+ year student of Sufism, most of those years in Austin, Texas, and the last 7 years in Seattle.  I have Masters' Degrees in both Advanced Spiritual Healing and in Peacemaking from The University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism.  My passion is helping people make these years their best years, especially people born in the Baby Boomer years..  I feel my gift is helping people discover and live their Truth---truth with a capital T---heart felt truth, rather than ego-based truth.

Comments from a client, from a recent healing session, express what I feel God is bringing  through me:

One thing I got was clarity.  I had so many things going on in my life and was confused about how to act on them, and what to do about them, or what I wanted to do about them.

After speaking with you it helped me distill my thoughts down to the core of what I wanted, and what was troubling me. Now I know what direction I want to head in. Overall I got clarity and the confidence to move forward, also a great sense of relief at being able speak with someone I knew understood my heart (Sufi souls and hearts speak). R.S.

Abdullah Gene Billings P.T.; M Div.

Gene is a Licensed Physical Therapist who has been practicing Physical Therapy for 43 years with specializations in orthopedic, cardiac and sports medicine.  He was the Director of Physical Therapy departments of both rehabilitation and acute hospitals in the Austin area. He founded/owned and operated four out- patient clinics in the Central Texas area as well.  Gene is in private practice utilizing his advanced myofascial release, and manual therapy skills. He graduated from the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism in 2008 with a specialty in healing and received a Masters degree of Divinity in Spiritual Healing and Counseling for Physical and Emotional Well- Being.

Gene has been searching for the missing links in the healing processes and his purpose in life for years.  This search lead him to The University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism. His studies opened new doors of not only learning to help others but more importantly, how to heal himself and find the love that was missing which began the true and deepest healing for himself.  It didn’t take long for Gene to realize that if he was to be true healer (his life ambition) then he had to be healed from his own deep wounds and heal the “illnesses of his heart”. Gene’s prayers, intentions, passions and focus are to become a master healer so that he may share his knowledge and apply his skills for those persons who are wanting the genuine deeper healings. In this way, this path offers a more fulfilling, purposeful, and happier life.  The search for the Truth and service for the face of our Creator has become his life mission.

Maryam Jennie Woodard

Maryam Jennie’s heart was awakened to study Sufism in 2003 when she was taught the meditative practice of Remembrance. This changed every aspect of her life and encouraged her to explore her gifts.

Pursuing wholeness, she began attending the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism, graduating in 2008. Maryam also completed Teacher Training at USHS and Ibrahim Jaffe’s 2 1/2 year Medical and Spiritual Healing program.

In Sufism, the name Maryam means Universal Mother; the mother of Jesus.

Maryam is able to love unconditionally and hold hearts with Compassion and Mercy. Everything flowers from within, of self-blessing, though sometimes it is necessary to reteach a thing it’s loveliness.
